Abstract

Тема дослідження «Процеси метафоризації в наукових текстах: порівняльно-перекладальний аналіз». У сучасному світі глобалізації та міжкультурної комунікації особлива потреба в постійному обміні науковими дослідженнями та відкриттями, що реалізується через тексти наукового стилю. Англійська мова – це мова науки, яка забезпечує процес спілкування представників різних народів і культур. Українським науковцям необхідно поширювати та визнавати результати своїх досліджень в інших країнах, що призводить до необхідності перекладу. Актуальністю нашого дослідження є переклад українських наукових текстів англійською мовою та збереження метафори без спотворення змісту. Вивчення перекладу метафори зумовлене комунікативною метою наукового стилю. Метафора виступає носієм інформації, забезпечує доступне і зрозуміле виклад повідомлення, розкриває зміст нового поняття, спираючись на відомі явища. The topic of the research is "Metaphorization processes in scientific texts: comparative-translation analysis". In the modern world of globalization and intercultural communication, there is a special need for a constant exchange of scientific research and discoveries, which is realized through the texts of scientific style. English is the language of science, which provides the process of communication between representatives of different peoples and cultures. Ukrainian scientists need to disseminate and recognize the results of their research in other countries, which leads to the need for translation. The relevance of our study is the translation of Ukrainian scientific texts into English and preserving the metaphor without distorting the content. The study of the translation of metaphor is conditioned by the communicative purpose of the scientific style. Metaphor acts as a carrier of information, provides an accessible and clear presentation of the message, reveals the meaning of a new concept, based on known phenomena.
