Abstract

Власні імена завжди відігравали важливу роль у житті людини: від давніх часів до наших днів. І чим більше проходить часу, тим більше власних назв з’являється: не тільки через збільшення населення планети, а й багато в чому через те, що з настанням ери цифрових технологій та глобалізації – політичні, економічні та культурні взаємозв’язки. між державами – з’являється все більше наукових праць і творів мистецтва: щодня вчені з усього світу роблять наукові відкриття та винаходи, які пізніше називаються. У свою чергу, поява нових видів мистецтва, наприклад, кінематографа або фотографії, також викликає зростання предметів і явищ, які мають певні назви. У фокусі нашого дослідження є адекватний переклад власних імен у німецькому та англійському кіно. У теорії перекладу на даний момент немає усталених і перевірених методів перекладу власних імен. Усе це ставить перед перекладачем завдання, як перекласти власні назви, як передати їх змістовне значення, а також національно-історичне колорит. Proper names have always played an important role in human life: from ancient times to the present day. And the more time passes, the more proper names appear: not only due to the increase in population of the planet, but also largely due to the fact that with the advent of the era of digital technology and globalization - political, economic and cultural relationship between states - more and more scientific works and works of art appear: every day scientists from all over the world make scientific discoveries and inventions, which are later named. In turn, the emergence of new arts, such as cinema or photography, also causes the growth of objects and phenomena that have certain names. The focus of our research is the adequate translation of proper names in German and English cinema. In the theory of translation at the moment there are no established and proven methods of translating proper names. All this puts before the translator the task of how to translate proper names, how to convey their substantive meaning, as well as their national and historical color.
